The striking Ola and Uber drivers on Wednesday were asked to wait for further discussions by transport department officials until Tuesday and then take further decisions, officials said.

The strike will continue until that time, affecting commuters across the city, including at the airport and stations.

The protestors met transport department officials and placed their demands. After hearing the complaints about aggregator companies from the protestors, the transport department sought time from the striking unions to initiate dialogue with the companies, officials said.
