Parts of South Mumbai to face an 8-hour water cut on May 11

As per the BMC, a 1200 mm diameter main water line has developed a leak during the ongoing Metro 3 work on Jeevan Bima Road, Churchgate in the A Ward

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) announced on Friday that certain areas in South Mumbai will experience a water cut on Saturday, May 11.

"Repair of a 1200 mm diameter water channel on Jeevan Bima Road in A Ward is scheduled for Saturday, May 11, 2024, from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM. During the eight-hour repair period, water supply to Colaba, Koliwada, and the Naval area will be temporarily interrupted," said the civic body.
