Republic Day: Mumbai Police ban flying activities around Shivaji Park in Dadar

The Mumbai Police on Tuesday, January 24, declared the Shivaji Park area of Dadar a 'no-fly' zone and issued prohibitory orders on aerial platforms for 24 hours starting midnight on Republic Day

The Mumbai Police on Tuesday, January 24, declared the Shivaji Park area of Dadar a 'no-fly' zone and issued prohibitory orders on aerial platforms for 24 hours starting midnight on Republic Day.

Police said considering potential security threats, Deputy Commissioner of Police and Executive Magistrate Vishal Thakur, issued an order under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, directing a ban in the vicinity of Shivaji Park Police Station during the Republic Day parade on January 26, 2024.
