In a significant ruling, the Lok Adalat in Maharashtra’s Thane district on Saturday awarded Rs 2.2 crore in compensation to the family of a man who died in a 2023 motorcycle accident, one of the highest settlements in the district this year, officials confirmed.

This is one of the highest settlements in the district so far this year, the official stated, reported PTI.
