<p>He said, &ldquo;We are not against development, but any development at Carter Road, Bandra must be transparent and in the public interest. The proposal for 35 LED commercial hoardings raises serious concerns about public space, environmental impact, and citizens&rsquo; rights. Authorities must clearly state their position and ensure that this iconic public promenade is protected from unnecessary commercialisation&rdquo;</p>
