<p dir="auto">Mayor Ritu Tawde, speaking to the media at the incident site in Mulund, said: "This is huge negligence. I came to know that the parapet segment was fitted here yesterday itself. Did they follow the safety norms? Traffic movement below should have been stopped for the time being. The injured have been admitted to hospital, one person has died." She added that she is looking into the matter further</p>

<p>The state government has announced immediate financial relief of Rs 5 lakh to the family of the victim of the Mulund slab collapse incident. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also said that the state will bear the entire cost of medical treatment for the three injured in the incident</p>
