Borivali East recorded an AQI of 148, while Byculla stood at 145. Andheri East reported 131, Chembur 120, and Colaba 116

<p>Other areas also showed elevated pollution levels. Ghatkopar recorded an AQI of 152, Kandivali East 140, Bandra East 136, Kurla 133 and Malad West 151. Sewri reported an AQI of 123. Bhandup West was relatively better compared to other areas, with an AQI of 96, falling within the satisfactory range</p>

The high concentration of PM10 is largely attributed to construction-related dust, ongoing infrastructure projects, and heavy vehicular emissions across arterial roads</p>
