After the first phase of Bihar Election 2025, which concluded on Thursday, Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi commended the people of the state for their record turnout. He highlighted that the steep voter turnout was evidence of the electorate's growing confidence and trust in the double-engineered government of NDA at the Centre and the state, news agency IANS reported.
While addressing the a large gather in Aurangabad, PM Modi said, “People of Bihar have broken all records; this is the biggest ever polling percentage in the state since Independence. Close to 65 per cent of voting took place in the first phase."
