State home minister wants cops to come up with a course of action to crack the case and probe deeper into the death of the former TATA employee
After sustained requests from senior journalists and friends of Charudutta Deshpande, Home Minister R R Patil has cracked the whip by giving Mumbai police an ultimatum of three- four days to come up with a plan of action to investigate the suicide case.
The former chief of corporate affairs and communications at Tata Steel was found hanging at his Vasai residence last month. While it has been ruled as a suicide case, yet many questions remain unanswered.
