India on Tuesday expressed serious concern over the rapidly deteriorating situation in Iran and the Gulf region following the escalation of conflict that began on February 28, reported news agency ANI.
In an official statement, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said India had, from the outset, urged all parties to exercise restraint, avoid escalation, and prioritise the safety of civilians.
