80% The traffic volume on road was way below the average due to heavy rains. Out of the 3 lakh-odd vehicles that ply every day on Mumbai’s roads, there were 20 per cent fewer vehicles on Friday, traffic officers claim. There were bottlenecks at Gandhi Market and Dadar T T, which led to snarls and hampered the flow of vehicles. In all, traffic was diverted at nine different locations across the city.
