Amid the heated Parliament Monsoon Session, which kicked off on Monday, Deputy Leader of Congress in Lok Sabha, Gaurav Gogoi, has moved a notice. The notice moved by the Congress MP seeks an adjournment motion in the House to discuss the Pahalgam attack and Operation Sindoor.
As reported by news agency ANI, while giving the adjournment notice to the Secretary General of Lok Sabha, Gaurav Gogoi wrote, "I seek to move an adjournment of the business of the House to discuss a matter of urgent national importance: the terror attack in Pahalgam, India's military response through Operation Sindoor, and the political and diplomatic developments that followed," as cited by news agency ANI.
The Congress MP Gogoi also raised concerns over the alleged role of US President Donald Trump in the ceasefire during Operation Sindoor.
