Prime Minister Narendra Modi has invited newly sworn-in Bangladesh Prime Minister Tarique Rahman to visit India and on Tuesday conveyed his best wishes to the leader.
The invitation was delivered through a letter handed over by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, who met Rahman in Dhaka shortly after he assumed office, officials said, reported news agency PTI.
