Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Parliament to attend the Budget session on Sunday. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju also arrived at the Parliament to attend the Cabinet meeting just before the presentation of Union Budget 2026-27 by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
Speaking to ANI, Rijiju said, "It will be a historic budget. The PM's 'Reform Express' will move forward speedily towards Viksit Bharat." Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said this would be, "Viksit aur Aatmanirbhar Bharat ka Budget."
