Congress leader Sangram Thopte on Sunday announced that he would join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in a bid to bring development to his region, news agency PTI reported.
Thopte is a former Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from the Bhor constituency in Maharashtra’s Pune district.
