Adorable delulu of being Vidhu Vinod Chopra

Fans of Ram Gopal Varmarsquos film Rangeela 1995 will instantly recall this hilarious moviedirector character Steven Kapur Gulshan Grover whose competition isnrsquot local but with Hollywood I asked Varma long ago if that delulu director was a joke on Vidhu Vinod Chopra that the character actually looked like or Shekhar Kapur who he was named after Varma laughedmdashboth filmmakers insisted it Khamosh 1985 Back in 1979 he picked up an Oscar nomination for his shortdocumentary An Encounter With FacesThatrsquos a lifespan in films fit for a nourishingly indepth nostalgic masterclass that I
