A mischievous cat thought she could get away with the pawfect crime. A cat named Nub Tang was arrested and charged with assault for attacking officers in Bangkok. The cute ‘furpetrator’ was brought into a police station by a concerned citizen, who found her wandering the streets wearing a pink harness. However, the officers got more than what they bargained for when taking in the furry friend. Nub Tang rewarded her saviours for rescuing her by biting and scratching the station’s officers. But this mischievous felon wasn’t let off that easily.

Pictures of Nub Tang were taken and circulated on social media so the owner could claim her before she committed other feral crimes. Before being reunited with her owner, she posed for an official mugshot and was handed a mock police report, complete with her paw prints. It read: ‘I was just hungry. I did not mean to bite anyone.’ No fines were issued for the crime. Social media users who wanted to adopt Nub Tang were encouraged to either seek out their local shelter, or to adopt some of the cats that were rescued.
