Speaking from the White House, President Biden emphasized Israel's right to defend itself and its citizens, condemning the "terrorist assaults" that have resulted in the loss of hundreds of lives, PTI reported.

Over the weekend, Hamas launched a barrage of rocket attacks on Israel, marking one of the most significant escalations in decades, resulting in over 200 casualties in Israel. In response, Israel conducted a series of airstrikes on Gaza, resulting in more than 230 reported casualties.
