Kohler has launched a toilet-mounted camera that uses artificial intelligence to monitor users’ well-being. The USD 599 (approx. Rs 53K) ‘Dekoda’ mounts over most toilet rims, focusing only on the toilet contents.
It captures and analyses images of waste samples, with its sensors evaluating hydration levels, identifying blood traces, and assess general gut health patterns. These insights are processed using AI algorithms and presented in the companion app, which compiles health scores and daily summaries.
