Over 300 endangered turtles rescued from Patna-Indore Express in Madhya Pradesh

In a major wildlife crackdown, 311 rare and endangered turtles were rescued from an AC First-Class coach of the Patna-Indore Express in Madhya Pradesh during a joint operation by forest and railway authorities

In a coordinated effort, the Madhya Pradesh State Tiger Strike Force, alongside the Railway Protection Force and the Bhopal Forest Division, successfully intercepted a trafficking operation involving 311 rare and endangered turtles.

These turtles were discovered in an AC First-Class coach of the Patna-Indore Express train in Madhya Pradesh, after being illicitly transported from Uttar Pradesh.
