Team India's tour to Bangladesh, which was scheduled to start in August, is likely to be cancelled, considering the situation in the country for the last few months, according to sources in the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

"India tour of Bangladesh is likely to be called off as the government has advised the BCCI not to go there as the situation is not ok there. The official announcement regarding this will be made soon," a source close to BCCI told ANI.

The 'Men in Blue' were supposed to lock horns with Bangladesh for a three-match ODI series, starting from August 17. After the conclusion of the ODI series, India will clash against the 'Bengal Tigers' for a three-match T20I series, scheduled to start from August 26.
