Team India's captain Shubman Gill smashed 161 runs off 162 deliveries, including 13 boundaries and eight maximums. Additionally, with the help of Ravindra Jadeja, KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant's knock, India posted a target of 608 runs against England.
The visitors declared their innings at 427 runs, after having a lead of 180 runs in the first innings.
In India's second innings, Yashasvi Jaiswal delivered a fiery start as the left-hander accumulated 28 runs. His knock came in 22 deliveries and was laced with six boundaries.
