Former England captain Michael Vaughan on Friday suggested the possibility of relocating the remainder of the 18th edition of the IPL 2025 to the United Kingdom after the tournament was suspended for a week.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) officially confirmed the one-week suspension of the IPL 2025 amid cross-border tensions between India and Pakistan. With uncertainty surrounding the future of the high-profile league, Vaughan raised the idea of finishing the tournament in the UK. He proposed that Indian players could stay on after the IPL to participate in their upcoming five-match Test series against England, set to begin on June 20.
