An unbeaten 52-ball 100 by Pathum Nissanka and Kusal Mendis’s 51 ensured Sri Lanka beat Australia by eight wickets here on Monday.
The Lankans comfortably chased down the Australians’s 181 all out with 12 balls and eight wickets in hand. Earlier, coming back into the playing XI after missing the team’s first two matches of the tournament due to an injury, Australia skipper Mitchell Marsh got into the act straightaway, clobbering 54 in 27 balls.
