Djoko withdraws from Italian Open

The 24-time Grand Slam Champions has struggled this season, winning just 12 of his 18 matches and dropping his past three contests in a row, the most recent ouster coming in the first round of the Madrid Open

Former World No.1 Novak Djokovic pulled out of the Italian Open amidst a three-match losing streak. The news was announced via a post on the clay court tournament’s social media account. The post read, “See you next year, Nole,” referring to Djokovic by his nickname.
