As India celebrates the festival of Diwali with great fervour and enthusiasm, many sportspersons such as Virat Kohli, Virender Sehwag, Rani Rampal, Suresh Raina and others took to social media to wish their fans a happy and prosperous Diwali.

Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli took to microblogging site Twitter and wrote, "May the festival of lights illuminate your life with joy and happiness. Happy Diwali. ?(sic)."
