CinemaCon 2026 has officially kicked off at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Monday, April 13, marked the first day of the event and witnessed two major presentations grace the Colosseum Theatre of Caesar's Palace, an afternoon extravaganza from Angel Studios, Sony Pictures Classics, and StudioCanal followed by an evening exhibition from Sony Pictures. Here are the biggest highlights of CinemaCon 2026 day 1.  

On March 28, 2026, millions of Americans took to the streets to protest President Donald Trump’s immigration policies and perceived authoritarianism under the banner of “No Kings.” Across all 50 states, more than 3,300 events drew an estimated 8 million participants, featuring marches, rallies, speeches, and symbolic acts.
