Legendary playback singer Asha Bhosle has passed away at the age of 92 in Mumbai, marking the end of an extraordinary musical era that shaped generations of Indian cinema and music lovers across the world. The final darshan began at her Lower Parel residence at 11 AM, where fans, family members and well-wishers gathered in large numbers to pay their last respects. The mortal remains were kept for public viewing, allowing thousands to bid a final goodbye. Her last rites are scheduled at Shivaji Park, Mumbai, at 4 PM, with full state honours. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is expected to attend the ceremony as the nation comes together to honour her legacy.
