The initiative is being carried out by the Maharashtra Forest Department, including the Thane Territorial Wing, with support from the Maharashtra State Security Corporation, Resqink Association for Wildlife Welfare and Wildlife Welfare Association

The industry body reiterated that employee safety remains a non-negotiable priority and that companies maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards inappropriate behaviour. It emphasised that isolated incidents should not be seen as indicative of broader systemic issues across the sector
