A CCTV technical head at Anna University, which happens to be a vote-counting centre, was arrested after he was seen watching Vijay's Jana Nayagan illegally, while on duty. This comes after the police have already arrested over 10 people in the case

Amid the delay of his final film, Jana Nayagan, and ahead of the Tamil Nadu election results, actor-turned-politician was seen visiting the Tiruchendur Murugan temple in the state. Several fans turned up in large numbers to catch a glimpse of him
