Major pipeline work to operationalise a key water tunnel will disrupt drinking water supply in Ghatkopar, Chembur and Sion. Several areas will face complete water cuts or low pressure for 30 hours from May 5.

According to MMRDA, the work forms part of Phase III (Saraswat Nagar to Chembur), a crucial stretch aimed at enhancing connectivity across Mumbai
