Worli's BDD chawl redevelopment: 556 people to get key on Aug 14, says MHADA

The complete BDD redevelopment project covers about 86 acres and includes approximately 207 chawls across Worli, Parel (N M Joshi Marg), and Naigaon. In total, 15,593 families will be rehabilitated, officials said

Worli's BDD chawl redevelopment project in Mumbai has reached a major milestone and as part of the first phase, 556 newly built flats will be handed over to eligible residents on August 14, a statement issued by MHADA said.
"The keys of the flats will be handed over by CM Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday during an event at 11 am. The distribution ceremony will take place at Yashwant Natya Mandir in Matunga West in Mumbai," said the statement.
At the event, Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar will also be present, it said.
