US-Iran war has taken a dramatic turn after U.S. strikes targeted military facilities on Kharg Island, the strategic hub that handles the majority of Iran’s crude oil exports. Kharg Island sits in the Persian Gulf and serves as the primary export terminal for roughly 85–90&#37 of Iran’s oil shipments, making it one of the most important energy nodes in the global oil supply chain. US President Donald Trump says U.S. forces “obliterated” military targets on the island while warning that Iran’s oil infrastructure could become the next target if tensions escalate.

Israel’s military has released drone footage showing what it says are armed Hezbollah operatives entering a building inside a Christian village in southern Lebanon. According to the Israel Defense Forces, troops from the 300th “Baram” Regional Brigade identified the militants during operations near the border and directed an Israeli Air Force fighter jet to strike the site. The IDF says the militants were part of a Hezbollah cell operating inside a civilian area. Israel claims the strike is another example of the group allegedly using civilian infrastructure and villages for military activity.
