This unique take on 'Devdas' earned high praise at the time of its release for its inventive storytelling and performances, particularly from Abhay Deol in the lead role. On Mid-day's Sit With Hitlist conversation, Abhay Deol had spoken about how he wanted to empower women through 'DevD'.
