He said, "It is a challenge for me to be in the South film (industry) and I feel negative is a good space to be in. Bohot kuch karne ko milta hai, maarne ko milta hai, maar khaane ko milta hai. Rape kat gaya hai lekin voh..." Sanjay also praised working with Ram Pothineni and director Puri Jagannadh, calling it a pleasure and an honour. Ram Pothineni, when asked about his favourite Hindi actor, mentioned Ranbir Kapoor, noting a special connection due to Ranbir's role as Sanju.
